NEW! The Zion Lutheran Preschool Sponsorship Program
Zion Lutheran Preschool is excited to announce an exciting new sponsorship program and we would like
to invite our current families to participate if you have a business to advertise.
We are excited to promote the businesses of Zion families in conjunction with their continued support of the Preschool. The exposure that your business will receive is compounded by several elements: credit in our monthly newsletter, a mention on our FaceBook page and recognition on our website. We will spotlight you, or your business, as the ONLY ONE of your profession that we endorse and promote (i.e.: If you are a lawyer, we will not accept sponsorship from a competing law firm, if you are a doctor/dentist, we will not accept sponsorship from competing doctors/dentists working in the same specialty, etc…).

Healthy & Happy Children = Happy & Healthy Teachers!
In an effort to keep all the students (and staff) healthy, please encourage your child to use the hand sanitizers located at each of the exits
on the way into and out of school.
If your child has a fever, bad cough or yellow/green mucus running from their nose they cannot be permitted to stay in school, and we will contact the Parent
(or other emergency contact person) as per the Department of Health guidelines.
As always, we appreciate your continued support and all of your efforts
to comply with the DOH regulations.

Peanut / Tree Nut Free School Policy
Food allergies are on the rise and can cause a severe, systemic, potentially fatal
allergic reaction called anaphylaxis in allergic individuals.
Eight of the most common food allergens are milk, soy, wheat,
fish, shellfish, egg, peanut and tree nut.
Peanut and tree nut allergies account for the most fatal and near-fatal anaphylactic reactions.
Allergic individuals can experience anaphylaxis if they touch, inhale or ingest
even the slightest trace or residue of the allergen.
To help make school a fun and safe place for our increasing number of peanut and tree nut allergic students,
we are becoming a peanut and tree nut free school.
In addition to cleaning hands and mouths before entering school, here’s how you can help:
Lunches (Pre K 4’s and Lunch Bunch)
· Send lunches (sandwiches, cookies, granola bars, chocolate, etc.) with items
that contain NO peanuts, tree nuts, peanut butter, or nut butter.
Shared items
· Read labels to ensure shared items, such as snacks and craft materials, contain no peanut or tree nuts, no traces of peanuts or tree nuts, and are not manufactured in a facility or on equipment that processes peanuts or tree nuts.
· Provide shared items in their original, unopened packages.
Birthdays
· The items listed on our snack list are the only snacks allowed.
Thank you for helping Zion Lutheran Preschool keep all of our students safe.
